It bothers me when my MOM likes the same kind of music I do (wtf my mom?). I was technically arrested for shoplifting, but was not cuffed or taken to a police station. The place I shoplifted from is pressing charges, and I am not allowed into the store ever again. House has a sulfur or rotten egg smell?

My fish keep dying in tank. Found fiddler crab eating one of the fishes. Can fiddler crabs kill the fish?

I would take the crab out. They're brackish crabs and need access to land. Yes they can't catch fish. Most of the time they eat ones that are already dead though because it's easier.

Starting a brackish aquarium...need LOTS of advice?

OK so I haven't bought anything yet but here's the fantasy tank i want to create....it might be too much. Here's what I absolutely need though: I really want a fresh water moray eel, i don't care what kind and the smaller the better. I know they can't stay in freshwater but can they live long term in a brackish tank? Btw, is a brackish tank alot of upkeep compared to a freshwater tank? As for fish, i'd like some bright colorful ones, don't really care what kinds. I suppose i just want some peaceful ones that are big enough to avoid the eel and not bother it. I want a 75 gallon tank, but im willing to go bigger if people think it's too much bioload. As for tank set up I want a big rock centerpiece. I'm going for a tropical rainforest river look. I swear, I don't leave it signed in. Fiddler crabs or green spotted puffer and tank mates?

NO! fiddler crabs have to be able to get OUT of the water or they will eventually die..they are also kind of destructive (they dig up live plants) and they WILL kill slow moving fish! Puffer fish are also very agressive, so I don't think guppy or molly would make good tank mates with them. Puffer's mollies, and fiddler crabs are all brackish water critters too, so make sure you have the right stuff to care for them!

I recently set up a brackish water 30 gallon aquarium with a puffer fish, a black tip shark (catfish) and two fiddler crabs with sand on the bottom. It has been up and running for a little over a month now. About 1/4 of the tank is a beach area for the crabs, and I need some help finding some good plants that like brackish water. My SG ranges 1.009 to 1.010 with water changes. I would like some sort of plant that would go down the incline from the beach area (mainly to help hold it together as I am tired of having to remake the beach area) and a couple plants to scatter elsewhere. Hey, guys! I'm a representative of an unofficial (meaning we aren't recognized by the school, but we have staff advisers and what not) student-run group at my school. We are looking for raise money for charities that donate money towards what our group represents and the idea of putting on a show came up, because many of our members are active in the music department. Long Story: My girlfriend's grandmother has lived next to an empty lot (a little over an acre) for 20 years, with no problems. The neighbors on the other side mowed the lawn and neighborhood children played in it. The last few months as the weather warmed teens who did not live in the neighborhood have been congregating there late at night. It wasn't a problem initially as they were quiet and respectful of the neighbors (mostly elderly). Recently more and more teens have been showing up, leaving broken beer bottles, lighting small fires, and harassing neighbors who politely ask them to be quieter. For the past two weeks police have been called repeatedly by various neighbors. Although there have been a few arrests for underage drinking/possession of pot/etc., most just scatter when they see police, jumping fences and running though yards before reconvening when police leave. Sunday her neighbors are going to clean the lot and mow the lawn so the children can play there again. My girlfriends father and I are going to be there to install motion detecting floodlights on her and the other neighbors house but I have a feeling they will be broken quickly now that school is letting out. So, I am looking for something that I could repeatedly sprinkle or place in certain areas of the lot that would make a terrible smell for a few hours (neighbors all use central air religiously). It shouldn't hurt the soil or grass (its very close to a river), can be cleaned up easily or biodegrade quickly, and that shouldn't be a problem for children if they were to touch a small amount. (the children that play there are old enough to not directly eat anything left behind) I was thinking sulfur as it can be purchased at lawn and garden stores, but I am worried as it is flammable and they have already started fires. Toxins in Aquarium water?

Hi, ok I have just set up a fresh water aquarium. The tank has been brought up to temp and filters, heaters, air-ration have been running for 36 hours. I picked up two Pictus Catfish and both died the next day. They were properly acclimated to the tank. A couple days later I picked up a Fiddler Crab and... dead the next day. I know since it's a new tank there is not an established Nitrogen cycle going yet, but I have been testing the waters pH, Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate levels and they are all at zero PPM. The pH level is at 7.4. What is going on here? is there something toxic in our water that does not affect the test I performed? We are on a well so there should be no chemicals that tap water will have. Please help if you can Thanks, Tom.

Problems with my negative grandma?

I am helping my grandma this summer and am having trouble dealing with her constant negativity. My parents are getting divorced and now all my grandma does is criticize my mom. I comforted her, all the while I was confused. In the weeks that followed she relapsed and realized that she still loved him, and talked with him to explain that she just wanted a break. However, he moved on, while she still got teary eyed thinking about him. PTSD and difficult boss?

Please, if anyone has any experience with this give me some advice. I have been diagnosed with severe PTSD, neurocardiogenic syncope(stress makes my bp drop) and low blood sugar. I work hard and can get through the day fine by coping mechanisms. However... My boss has a huge issue with me taking a short break( even 5 min!). I get there at 8 and work til lunch at 1. I'm pretty sure it's the law to allow a break. Without food my bp and bs both drop so I have to sneak to the bathroom to eat. Kind of gross, I know, but no other option. So I fell in love in the beginning of September of '08 with another girl who is a year younger than me and have been in love with her since. After 5-10 days of no sleep, you die. Everyone has a different tolerance to pain..life. I am somewhat the same way as you are. My father is a very strict man and expects a great deal, academically, from my younger brother and myself. I am the eldest, and my brother is two years younger. Backpacking vs Luxury?

Hey! So I'm going on a trip pretty soon to London and Paris, it's going to be hopefully amazing, I'm planning on traveling in my style which is always to stay at nice hotels and be pampered and have really luxurious amenities and eat at the absolute coolest and best places and really live it up as much as I can, I mean hey, you only have one life to live, and I've always traveled this way, always, I've never really ever done any of the backpacking thing, and honestly the idea repulses me a little, I want to take everything in and be comfortable and feel like I'm at peace, and yet a little part of me wonder's, how is it like to backpack though? Like through europe, i mean for the price of a holiday in luxury places you could backpack through all of Europe, yet wouldn't it be uncomfortable? And I just want to hear some opinions, why and why not to backpack and if you like the idea of staying in more luxurious hotels and being pampered alongside your holiday, or if you prefer getting dirty and staying in hostels? What are some arguments and some like opinions on both, I mean it's not really like you see more or less of somewhere just by how you travel, right? And I always see a lot of backpackers always criticizing people who travel luxuriously for not taking in the culture and real life, who says you don't see the culture and life in a luxury hotel? You still go to the same sights, you still get the same place, you just spend it at different places is really all, so why do backpackers bash us so much? I smoked Spice for the first time a few hours ago, and, admittedly, I know it was stupid. I knew nothing about the drug and was told it was legal, so, naturally, I thought that it was harmless. Prior to my initial dosage, I had never tried any drugaside from alcohol, so, please, if you're going to criticize me for being stupid, don't bother-- I've been repeating that same line to myself even before I arrived home. All I used last night for my face was St. Ives exfoliant, Neutrogena alcohol-free toner, Benzyl Peroxide 10% (I've used it before), Sulfur cream 6%, and the moisturiser. So do you think I should switch to a different moisturiser?

I don't get out much so I usually make a lot of stupid mistakes, examples include: Taking the wrong bus, using the wrong end of a bank card when trying to pay for stuff, and so on. Why are people so critical or concerned with my college major?

Some of the majors that you mention are "no skills" majors. By "no skills" I mean that you are not taught a marketable skill so that with just a BA it is almost impossible to get a starting position in the field even if you are a brilliant person. My original degree was in Psychology and I was never able to get a job using it. I had to get a teaching credential. I do not think that people are criticizing the major because you are not learning, they are criticizing it because you cannot easily get a job with it.

They need water and area to come out of the water. They also need some salt. It is very hard to keep them healthy and they fight a lot. I had a very bad experience myself. I wish you good luck. I would set a tank with a filter in the bottom and rocks fro them to climb out some sand would be great and pebbles. Need to keep water very clean and need some salt. Some ignorant stores dumpt them in tanks with the fish they end up dying in the filter. It is very sad.

Can I mix a beta fish with..?

A lot of ppl including petco/petsmart ppl have told me betta fish cant go w anything but from my own experience i can tell u that female betta can go with nething other than another female betta (the bettas that dont have long fins) the beautiful long finned bettas are male they r way more territorial. right now i have a male betta in a 5 gal. tank w three mollies were goin on 4 months theyve all been in the same tank. i had a male betta that i kept in a 10 gal tank w some run of the mill goldfish, a spotted danio and a barbfish. it killed them all within 2 days. personally i think male bettas vary a little some r more tempermental than others. but if u have ne doubt puttin all these fish together dont bcuz the betta wont attack the other fish until no one is looking n by then ur other fish wil b dead. worse case scenario is the betta can go into some other tank they have 4.95 betta tank at walmart its like 5 gal n it comes w a divider for another betta fish. but i wouldnt recommend a second betta 4 that tank
