MEN: I have been in love with my best friend for 6 years. He never has girlfriends. What can I do?

He texts me everyday, and acts super protective over who I date.. he always criticizes who I date.. He's the type of guy who wont show emotions or anything. Then he randonmly sends me song lyrics that are just weird. We havent seen each other in 4 years because he moved, yet talk every day. We are going to college together in August
