Why does my urine smell like sulphur?

I've been noticing lately that my pee will smell like sulphur but it comes and goes. And sometimes it's cloudy. I do tend to hold my pee for a long period of times (sometimes), mostly in the mornings. How do stop it from smelling, and why does it happen? Maybe I should be drinking more cranberry juice and water!
