Is this a good song for a musical audition?

I'm auditioning for a local production of "Hairspray" and am going for the roles of Amber/Penny. I want to sing "Matchmaker" from "Fiddler on the Roof". I'm an alto, but I can hit some high notes. If you have other song suggestions, that would be wonderful! Thanks!
