Charles just died, what do I do?

My fiddler crab, Charles, just died. He lived a good 3 years, longer than fiddler crabs usually live, so I'm a little happy. I got him when he was under a year old, for my 10th birthday. I am now 13. I found him in his tank, he was floating upside down, i poked him, and he didnt move. I'm actually really sad. He always crawled all around my hands, and he didn't pinch me once. I was thinking of burrying him in my backyard. Does this sound dumb, because he is just a crab? (But he wasn't just a crab to me) I'm worried people will think I'm pathetic, which I do feel like that. Also, I just found him dead, and its almost midnight, so I will just worry about it in the morning. I just need to know if I should burry him, or throw him away. I don't want to feel pathetic and like a little cry baby for barrying him:[ what should i do?
